I’m Aris Boletsis, a writer and producer, born and raised in Athens, Greece, and spent much of my life between New York and Los Angeles.

After graduating from Emory University and following a career in project management in maritime transportation, I switched paths towards film, training in theater at T. Schreiber Studio in New York with Pam Scott, and with Sandra Seacat at her Berlin intensives in 2015, 2017, and 2019. I’ve also taken directing and writing courses at UCLA, always wandering toward my own approach to writing for film.

While living in New York, I was gradually introduced to the world of film and writing, and got involved with the production of The Sound of Silence (Sundance 2019) and The Burnt Orange Heresy (Venice 2019).

I enjoy stories that carry a slight absurd twist on everyday moments and delights.

I’m currently developing my first feature film, BLUE, as well as a few short films.
